Sponsor an adoptable bird
Not in a position to adopt right now? You can still help a bird at the adoption center by sponsoring them with a donation of $50 a month! Sponsoring helps to cover the costs of providing a variety of foods that go into a diverse, healthy diet. It also helps to provide perches and toys for the birds. As you can imagine, especially with a number of large birds in the adoption program, there is always a need for toys, perches, cleaning supplies, and more!
Sponsorship donations go into the general fund that provides money for food, enrichment, perches, cleaning supplies, adoption center repairs, and more for the birds. Sponsoring a bird helps to offset the costs of providing this care for the birds in the adoption program, and are greatly appreciated!

CupidSponsoring Cupid means contributing towards the costs of healthy foods, shreddable toys, and more! Cupid is one of six Quakers that lives in a large outdoor aviary at the adoption center. He is known as the unofficial greeter, as he flies up to guests when they approach the aviary. If you have visited the adoption center, you have probably met Cupid!

BertieAre you sometimes shy around new people, but also have an adventurous, mischievous side that might surprise people? If so, you may want to sponsor Bertie. Bertie likes wood toys to chip away at, as well as bells and links she can shake and rattle. Food is so exciting for Bertie, she literally dances at mealtime. Sponsoring her helps to provide her with those things that make her happiest.

BuddyBuddy loves pepitas, fresh fruits, Nutriberries and more! He also likes swings, sticks, and shreddable toys. Buddy lives in the outdoor aviary with five other boy Quakers. He keeps fit by flying around a lot, so sponsoring him helps to keep him healthy with good food, and provides toys and other enrichment that help to keep encouraging him to fly and get exercise. He's so much fun to watch in the aviary.

LaylaWood and shreddables - there are never enough for Layla. She is a busy bird who needs lots of enrichment to keep her busy. She also appreciates good food. Sponsoring her helps to keep her stocked with all the supplies necessary to care for a busy macaw. She lets us know if we hand her the wrong kind of nut. She does have preferences!

AndyAndy isn't shy about telling you exactly what food item he wants. He eats a variety of healthy foods, but will also request popcorn. Many veggies double as shredding toys for Andy. We never tell him not to play with his food. He's an excellent wood chipper and goes through a lot of toys and toy parts! Sponsoring him helps to keep him busy.
Andy thanks his previous sponsor: Janelle Newland |
OllieOllie loves training. He is waiting for the right home, that wishes to adopt him and his BFF, Layla, and will provide him with lots of training sessions! He is smart and learns how to dismantle toys, bowls, and more quickly, too. So, Ollie could use several sponsors, to keep him well supplied with enrichment!
