RELINQUISHING A PARROT

We serve the areas of Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Greenville-Spartanburg, SC.

We try to find homes just as quickly as possible; however, there are often many parrots coming into our care and we like to insure that each new home is just right for each bird. And since birds often need several homes across their long lives, we give priority to the birds that have already come into the Phoenix Landing adoption program.

Since we have a substantial wait list, sometimes it can take months before we can find a good home for your bird, depending on the species (Amazons and cockatoos especially).

If your bird can stay with you until a good home is found, then we are glad to include them on our wait list, and help as soon as we can.

Since we are assuming responsibility for your parrot, here are the things we need to know. Please fill out this form and return to us by mail or e-mail.
